Africa plays host to some ‘must do’ marathons, and the Econet Victoria Falls Marathon is definitely one of them!

Started in 2006 by Wild Frontiers and Adventure Zone, this event has become a must run for the ultimate destination marathon seeker.

If you haven’t felt the spray from the mighty Victoria Falls “Smoke that Thunders” you need to participate in the 2024 Econet Victoria Falls Marathon. This is a truly unique marathon offering an exhilarating race through the African Bush, giving runners the chance to see wild animals after crossing over the Victoria Falls Bridge spanning the mighty Zambezi River. There are great prizes up for grabs, and after the race, it is time to relax upstream and enjoy a sundowner on a Zambezi River Sunset Cruise.
