The Million Kid Run
Did you know 7 June 2017 is ‘Global Running Day‘? As the organisers of the Victoria Falls and Kilimanjaro Marathons, we think this is a pretty cool initiative. The Million Kid Run aims to get young people moving. The goal is to have a million kids around the world pledge to run on 7 June 2017. The Million Kid Run is about making fitness fun, and inspiring kids to embrace running as a way to get healthy and fit.
Participation is easy – just pledge to take part in some type of running activity on 7 June. It can be a solo lap around the block, a long run with friends, or even a game of tag with your kids. Get any kids you know – sons, daughters, nieces, nephews to choose their running activities and be a part of something incredible.
Take the pledge.
And whilst you are in running mode, don’t forget to register for the Econet Victoria Falls Marathon, half marathon or fun run before online registration closes on 7 June 2017. You may still enter locally on June 16 and 17.
