Nicknamed the Pearl of Africa, Uganda attracts many visitors every year to its lush and inspiring landscapes. The country boasts some beautiful national parks that are home to a variety of animal species and birds and chief among these is Murchison Falls National Park on the Nile River.
The Murchison Falls, also known as the Kabarega Falls, is part of Murchison Falls National park. This waterfall lies between Lake Kyoga and Lake Albert on the White Nile River in Uganda and is most famous for its fishing and birdlife. The falls itself are an awesome spectacle to behold as the world’s longest river, the Nile, forces itself between two pieces of land only 7 metres apart.
