Mt. Kilimanjaro lies three degrees below the equator, is contained entirely within Tanzania and is one of Africa’s youngest volcanoes. At 5,895 metres it is Africa’s highest mountain and one of the legendary 7 Summits. Although not to be taken lightly, any reasonably fit person can reach the summit of Kilimanjaro, and there are several routes available.
There are regular departures for ladies, individuals or groups so you can join up with one of our set departures. Or, better still, why not put your own group together of family, friends, or work colleagues – it’s a great achievement, and even more rewarding if you climb with people you know. Here are a few more considerations that may help you in booking your hike with us.
We also have travel add-on packages that enable you to explore the region further after your climb, like safaris to areas such as the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, or to go and relax on the pristine beaches of Zanzibar.
Wild Frontiers will take you on this journey of exploration that will no doubt leave an awe inspiring impression on you.
