The History
I was born in Cape Town, moved between there and UK a couple of times finishing with my senior schooling in the depth of North Wales and then heading out on my own to South Africa there after. I lived in the three major cities of South Africa over the next 15 years and then moved to Uganda where I have been ever since. In fact it is also where I have lived in one place for the longest in my life, and I plan to keep it that way, with just short trips out to do and see new things, experience life and have fun. I joined the Wild Frontiers team in Uganda – in fact I started it along with my husband Paul Goldring. I was the office lady (initially the office was the entrance hall to our house!) and he was the safari guide.
Since then it has grown slightly and so now we have a stand alone office with around 100 employees including office and workshop staff, three lodges/camps around Uganda and a sucessful boat excursion business on Lake Victoria and the Nile river.

Most Memorable Holiday
Too many to have just one – perhaps the barge down the French canals with the food and wine and weather just perfect or even the climbing of the Rwenzoris which was certainly the toughest one
My Travel Wishlist
I reckon I have to see New Zealand and Australia soon and the Tigers in India are still on the bucket list
Never Travel Without…

The Luxury Travel Item
