Some of our personal favourites in East Africa are Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya climbs, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara African safaris, tours to the Masai Mara and the Great Rift Valley of Kenya, Zanzibar, Tanzania's southern parks of Ruaha, Katavi, Selous, Mikumi and Ruaha. In addition, Uganda offers African tours with gorilla and chimpanzee tracking, fishing, bird watching, and excellent game viewing in the Queen Elizabeth National Park and Murchison Falls areas.
In Southern Africa we recommend visiting the Okavango Delta, Moremi and Chobe region of Botswana and the picturesque Victoria Falls (and the annual Victoria Falls Marathon) Lake Kariba and Hwange in neighbouring Zimbabwe are also choice holiday destinations. The largest country is western Africa, Mali is a culturally fascinating nation.
