The ‘bush baby’ gene is strong in this one. My parents spent a great deal of time traipsing through the jungles of East Africa, completely unimpeded by a baby who was simply strapped to the back of whoever happened to be “it” for the day… and here I am… still travelling.
Experience has taught me that it is a thrilling and heady ‘malady’, this ‘travel bug’ they speak of – I can attest to the fact that there simply is no cure.
I have called Kenya, Botswana and Zimbabwe home and am now rooted in Kwazulu-Natal from where I take mini journeys every time I put an amazing itinerary together, to actual journeys every time Wild Frontiers wishes me to do so…..oh how we suffer (-:
Tanzania, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Kenya, Mozambique, UK, USA, Australia.
Most Memorable Holiday
Tanzania – it’s where Goosebumps come from – the good kind! You simply haven’t experienced Africa until you have experienced Tanzania!
Leopards, gorillas, elephants, kudu, dik-dik
My Travel Wishlist
Antarctica – because that is just a whole level of ‘different.’
Cambodia – Angkor Wat – for it’s architecture and bas-reliefs – jaw-dropping
Never Travel Without…
1. Imodium and a sense of humour
2.Boots so comfortable you could sleep in them.
The One Luxury item for travel…
